Jessica Simpson was hospitalized following problems resulting from a kidney infection.

She was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she was treated.

Her spokesperson stated, “She was hospitalized for a kidney infection, but she has been released and is doing fine.”

A family friend added, “She checked in on Friday morning because she was feeling achy and had a fever. She is so happy she is out and feeling great.”
