Jon and Kate Gosselin are calling it a “new chapter.”
In legal terms, it is often referred to as a “divorce.”
The embattled reality TV parents spent the second half of Monday’s episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 making excuses and trying to justify explaining their decision to separate, which was made official yesterday when they filed for divorce in Reading, Pa.
On the hour-long episode, Jon and Kate Gosselin spoke introspectively of the troubles in their marriage and publicly announced that they are splitting up.
