A Republican strategist who is now representing The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub says she has not ruled out running for U.S. Congress.
According to Garden State political insiders, Staub is mulling a bid to challenge U.S. Rep Bill Pascrell (D-Paterson), in the November 2010 election.
“At this point Ms. Staub is fielding numerous offers and has ruled out nothing,” Thomas Ammirato said. “Her advisors will be discussing her future shortly.”
Ammirato, who does political PR work, says he threw out that very possibility to Danielle Staub, but probably doesn’t expect to see her on any ticket.
“I don’t see that happening,” Ammirato told the Newark Star-Ledger. “It would be the longest of political longshots … unless there’s a huge groundswell.”
Well, The Real Housewives of New Jersey does get high ratings …
