Britney Spears’ brother Bryan Spears has been married to his little sister’s manager Graciella Sanchez. The news of the engagement leaked only days ago, and the couple has already tied the knot in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve, reports People Magazine. The couple is said to have been dating for several years. Family members Jamie Lynn, Britney,and a growing number of children attended the ceremony.

California Texting-While-Driving Ban Today

Effective January 1st, text messaging while driving has been banned in California. There is in addition to an existing ban on talking on cell phones without using a hands-free device in the state. California is not acting alone, as 29 other states and the District of Columbia have laws against using cell phones while behind the wheel.

Other laws taking effect in California on Jan. 1 is requiring state certification for massage therapists. This law is aimed to distinguish legitimate massage therapists from massage parlors that are fronts for prostitution rings. New standards of care will be required for animals sold in pet stores and state marriage license forms will be altered to make it easier for men to take the name of their wife when they marry.

Matt Dillon arrested for driving 106 mph

Actor Matt Dillon was arrested last night in Vermont for driving 106 mph. The Associated Press reported the posted speed limit at 65 mph.

The star of the movie “Crash” was pulled over shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night in Newbury while driving a rented 2009 Chevrolet Impala.

On January 21, the 44-year-old actor is scheduled to appear in Orange County Vermont court where he faces a $300 fine and up to three months in jail.

Taylor Swift really sings, Jonas Brothers really lip sync at Time Square

The Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift, and Lionel Ritchie performed on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.

Taylor Swift performed first and sounded like a good karaoke version of herself. Her performance included hits “Change,” “Forever and Always,” “Picture to Burn,” and “Love Story.” She looked less like the image of her we have been sold and more like a contestant on American Idol but in a good way.

The Jonas Brothers sounded great no matter how far they pulled away from their mics or even if their mouths were closed. They swung their guitars wildly like party favors at a Bar Mitzvah but it didn’t matter because what we heard was clearly prerecorded.

Tony Romo FAILS. Again. Simpson to the rescue.

Once again, Tony Romo FAILED miserably to take Americas Team, The Dallas Cowboys, past the first round of the playoffs. And this time, he did it in remarkable style by getting blown out by arch-rivals, The Eagles of Philadelphia. Have you ever seen a Philly crowd excited? It’s kind of gross, so that’s a double FAIL for Romo. Actually, wait, he completes the FAIL trifecta right here….

TMZ says, As if totally choking in the biggest game of the season weren’t bad enough, Tony Romo had to have Jessica “Yoko” Simpson rush to his side to help him with a little popped-out cartilage.

Basically, Romo passed out in the shower after the big FAIL and Simpson had to come help him. Supposedly it was an injury that caused him to pass out, but others speculate he took a peak at PacMan Jones with his towel off. Nevertheless, big FAILs on the report card all the way around. Hopefully he feels better. I mean, how bad can it be? His chick is hotter than everyone elses.
